  I have made two winter trips driving from London to Austria for ski holidays. These tyres are fantastic for poor weather; i never felt like I could lose control of the car. They are also good in the wet and I have never experienced aquaplaning with them. In terms of durability, I was pleasantly surprised with how the snow rated tyres performed. After using them for all of last summer, I experienced no unusual wear.

  Although these tyres are quite comfortable, they are a little bit more slippery than summer tyres on greasy roads in warm weather. However, they managed quite well last year during the extreme cold winter when the roads were icy and ungritted. To test for ice, you would have to make a sharp brake. I still haven't been able to try them in the snow yet.
